Sekhar is certified as a Master Casting Instructor (MCI), a Two Handed Master Casting Instructor (THMCI) and a Level 3 Examiner by Fly Fishers International, and as an Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor (APGAI) for Single and Double Handed Rods by GAIA.  He is a casting coach for the British Fly Casting Club, where for a brief shining moment he held a club age group distance casting record.

 

Sekhar's fishing travels have taken him to Alaska, Argentina,The Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, British Columbia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Iceland, India, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Ontario, Poland, Scotland, the Seychelles, the UAE, Zambia and many of the other fresh and salt waters of the USA and the United Kingdom.

 

Sekhar enjoys working with students ranging from absolute beginners to other instructors.

 

He and his wife have two grown daughters and are now based in Greenwich, Connecticut after spending many happy years in London.
